THE HONOURABLE EAST INDIA COMPANY SERVICE

~ VOYAGES ~
Logs, Journals, Ledgers & Paybooks
1800-1830

These journals record events on board an East Indiaman, the crew and passenger lists, when and where passing ships are noted, weather patterns, crime, punishment and death plus the noting of unusual events.

The transcribing of ships logs is a complicated and slow business. The following voyages are and will only ever be a tiny window into what is available. Each page has been designed as a stand-alone story. Extra biographical material has been added by the Editors in square brackets, especially with some individuals and ships noted in the journals.

As and when another voyage is transcribed, it will be added to this page.
